Oral Prophylaxis

We focus on our oral hygiene by doing oral prophylaxis or teeth cleaning. This involves removing the hard calculus deposits above and below the gum line to prevent bacterial colonies in developing caries and gum disease that can cause looseness of teeth.  Prophylaxis is recommended twice a year for the average healthy individual and as often as 6 – 8 weeks for  mentally and physically impair patients.
